Director General Accounting

Job description

Lead and organize the general accountant department. Monitor, drive and coordinate the Month-

End Close and Reporting process. Perform research (US GAAP/IFRS) for accounting treatment on business transactions (Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, etc.). Master data centre for the General Ledger in SAP,including the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers and Reporting Structure. Conduct test of internal controls related to accounting transactions. Responsible for all external audits (Financial & 401K) with PwC, including coordinating the audit, preparing all audit work papers and act as main liaison for auditors. Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts and perform monthly various analyses for Logistic Costs, Overheads and Other Income/Expense Budgeting and Reporting, including monthly reports on Actual vs. Budget spend, Risk & Opportunities Analysis, and Latest Estimates Reporting for LE1/ LE2 / Year-End. Analyze BS accounts for Risk & Opportunity on a monthly basis.

Salary: $170,977 to $220,602/year

Profile

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with concentration

in Accounting, and 7 years of experience as an Accountant. Requires CPA designation (foreign or US) or equivalent.

 

  • Experience specified must include 7 years of experience in the adult beverage industry with

each of the following: controls, processes, and software including Hyperion, ERP (e.g. SAP) and Essbase; accounting and FP&A; and IFRS. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

 

  • Requires 5 to 10% domestic/international travel.
