Innovation Manager – Rémy Martin

Job description

  • Strategy & Product Innovation: Understand consumer in depth to be able to identify key pain points, build innovation proof-of-concepts (POC) and lead the development of Concepts, Design, and ‘Gifting’ for Remy Martin. Able to frame and re-frame opportunities and inspire the organization behind the vision.
  • Influencing & Inspiring: It is critical that he/she can effectively influence and inspire our global teams, brand teams, gate keepers and the overall business to deliver the ambition. This means genuine relationships, tough conversations when needed and above all to be a master of inspiring the business in the opportunity.
  • Monitor innovation trends, especially on China e-commerce and disruptive technologies (specifically in the areas of new retail/ digitalized consumer engagement/service-driven business model, etc.) competitive review, market intelligence meanwhile to nourish global brand team with Chinese market consumer insights.
  • Excellent Execution Launches: Lead key innovation projects for Remy China market working together with global team and local brand team to realize innovation projects in market. Ensure launch, post-tracking to validate if the innovation meets the objectives and launch on time and within budget.

Profile

  • Marketing profile with product development capability
  • At least 5+years marketing, strategy and innovation experience and have a proven track record of strategic and creative thinking (strong preference for emotionally driven category, e.g. Luxury)
  • Organized but agile, strong project management skill; Multi-tasking, ability to run up to 8-10 projects at the same time
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. Be comfortable challenging and being challenged
  • Good analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate project results
  • Ability to prioritize and balance different stakeholders needs
  • Ability to observe/understand different (and sometimes conflicting) objectives from different stakeholders and propose ways to resolve it
  • Have a strong drive for results and motivation to deliver on-time, in full with meticulous budget management along the way
  • Passionate about new technology, new business model, innovation
