Job Overview:

The Sales Technology Manager reports to VP Commercial Excellence & Trade Planning. Remy Cointreau Americas is on a journey of transformation to become the leading commercial team within exceptional spirits. Part of that journey requires us to significantly improve our sales planning and tools. The Sales Technology Manager will be the point person between Sales & Remy Cointreau IT. The principle role is to identify high priority IT needs that will enable our Sales Teams to work efficiently and deliver excellence in the field. If successful, the sales team will have great selling tools, data and insights delivered efficiently with high user adoption. Also, our Sales Team will be more efficient, our P&L will look stronger, and our customers and distributor partners will notice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales technology user on-boarding and ongoing sales technology training
  • Achieve user adoption and user success through structured user management.
  • Manage behavioral change and collect user feedback through consistent communication and field interaction.
  • Convert user feedback into actionable insights for sales technology evolution or adjustments.
  • Serve as level one user support for sales technology-related inquiries.
  • Ensure field-facing sales technology “ecosystem” is built to drive sales effectiveness and reporting efficiencies.
  • Communicate proposed systems evolutions and adjustments to gain alignment and support.
  • Manage leadership/senior management level user-adoption, user-success, and behavioral change.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to build synergies with distributor partners through sales technology – selling tools, data & insights, POSM deployment, incentive tracking, etc.
  • Serves as point of contact for Distributor Sales Technology personnel
  • Responsible for embedding CE Pilot outputs into sales technology evolution
  • Serves as sales technology SME on CE foundations and pilots providing thought leadership on sales technology solutions.
  • Works with VP BI to animate and automate selling insights and embed relevant insights into sales technology
  • Serves as primary business point-of-contact, subject matter expert, and voice-of-user for sales technology projects
  • Defines user archetypes and use-cases for sales technology ecosystem
  • Defines business need for sales technology evolution

Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years experience of cross-functional experience within sales, commercial business solutions, business intelligence, or sales technology
  • Experience in 3-Tier US beverage system – preferably distributor tier
  • Experience managing commercial technology solutions
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships and digest/discern input from various levels/functions
  • Thought leadership with ability to develop simple solutions to complex sales technology needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce / Power BI proficient.
  • Experience working in the premium consumer goods industry
