To ensure continued growth and success, Cointreau is looking for a high-performing Senior Brand Director to join this dynamic & innovative team and to be responsible for building and executing the marketing plan across the Americas region (USA, Canada, Latin America).

Job Responsibilities:

LEAD A TEAM OF 3 DIRECT REPORTS:

  • Manage, coach, and develop individual talents to grow in role and within organization.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively across projects.

MANAGE USA BUSINESS:

  • Lead the creation and delivery of the strategic plan including the annual budget for the Americas (includes Canada and Latam).
  • Develop commercial plan that achieves financial objectives and builds brand equity in the on + off-premise and e-commerce.
  • Evaluate initiatives by building program and commercial KPIs.
  • Manage P&L from annual budgeting process through the year closing.
  • Identify and incorporate business trends and insights into plans and decision making.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing & field teams to ensure impactful & effective execution of programs.
  • In addition to managing the USA, collaborate with Canada and Latin America to understand programming needs and implement best practices.

BUILD BRAND EQUITY

  • Manage and collaborate with media and PR agencies to develop, execute, and measure equity-driving partnerships, content, campaigns, and brand activations.
  • Create on and off-premise promotional plans and point-of-sale materials.
  • Work with insights to uncover and utilize consumer truths and trends to further understand our target and refine brand plans.
  • Ensure synergy with Global Marketing strategy and/or define need for modifications to ensure Americas region relevance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of marketing/brand management experience, with at least 4 years of leadership
  • experience managing, motivating, and providing professional development to a team of direct reports.
  • Experience in uncovering consumer insights, business insights, and cultural trends and translating
  • them into through-the-line marketing programs.
  • Strong media experience including planning and content creation.
  • Experience in managing promotions and retail programming.
  • Strong analytical acumen with sales and business data.
  • Experience managing and providing professional development to direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in managing external agencies and partners.
  • Experience in Alcoholic Beverage.
