Job description
A successful candidate will be responsible for the management of supply chain from importation to delivery to customers, working closely with International Supply Chain team on planning and logistics for both domestic sales and travel retail . He/she will be supporting the company’s commercial targets by proactively managing any issues related to stock, warehouse and logistics, and order processing.
Key Activities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including product supply planning, logistics, and delivery, by developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon KPIs.
- Work closely with Central Planning, Sales, and Marketing on managing demand forecast, product allocation, and import schedule of both Trading and POS items, to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Closely monitor and analyze the inventory level of all products of all categories.
- Drive the relationship with 3PL: KPI reviews, kaizen plans, stock take, cycle count, invoice treatment, VAS, EDI implementation and follow-up, and any topic involving warehousing or distribution.
- Collaborate with international teams to optimize global supply chain operations.
- Optimization of CS operation (order fulfillment) including external service provider
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and quality control.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, wholesalers, and customers
- Work closely with Sales team, analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage market in the event of a recall or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Coordinate with HQ to prepare, translate and store Japanese import documents including technical and quality reports for Quarantine application. Monitoring to anticipate any local requirement change.
- Coordinate label validation and rework operation.
- People Management by teaching, guiding and identifying the area of improvement of your team.
