Job description

  • Pro-actively you will manage stock levels to provide sufficient availability to cover demand in collaboration with the planners in Angers: You will monitor the alerts in SAP IBP on a daily basis, taking necessary action promptly to ensure out of stock situations are kept to a minimum,
  • You will follow the set planning cycle(s) with Passoa and Bruichladdich: Ensure purchase orders are sent to Passoa and Bruichladdich on a monthly basis,
  • Proactively you will monitor and manage the depletion of slow moving and obsolete goods: Communicate accurate stock holding and rate of sale information to the SCM and Commercial team on a fortnightly basis,
  • You will manage all aspects of material master data in SAP: You will ensure all new SKUs are created as soon as possible to allow the demand planning to progress in a timely manner. Also you will ensure that the material master data report is run after each new SKU creation and take time to cleanse the report, removing any obsolete SKUs,
  • You will manage all re-work requirements: You will ensure sufficient continued supply of the regular re-work SKUs and timely management of new re-work SKUs,
  • You will receipt purchase orders accurately once stock has been receipted in the warehouse: You will take proactive action to liaise with the warehouse to expedite any urgent requirements for receipting of goods taking care to ensure appropriate escalation – the main example being the avoidance/rectifying of an out of stock situation,
  • You will carry out a weekly comparison of stock levels between RCUK and the warehouse and pro-actively investigate any discrepancies: You will ensure corrective action is taken to resolve discrepancies and always follow internal controls and procedure,
  • You will take ownership of the annual stock take: You will liaise closely with the warehouse to ensure sufficient notification is provided and relevant planning put in place especially with regards to a full stock take where operations are impacted,
  • You will take ownership of all shortage and damage claims: You will ensure claims are investigated in a timely manner, claims tracker updated accurately and resolution communicated to all relevant parties namely the customer and UK Finance,
  • You will take ownership of the SKU and allocation tracker: Following instruction from the commercial team, you will ensure that agreed allocations are entered in the file and controlled accordingly. You will ensure the sku tracker is kept up to date and accurate. Proactively you will flag any availability risks to the SCM as soon as a potential issue becomes known.
  • Customer Service support: During holiday, absence and as required during peak, provide full cover for the Customer Service function.
  • Ad hoc requests as required: Support business projects and ad hoc requests

Profile

  • You will bring an experience with 4/5 years in a similar function gained ideally in FMCG,
  • You have strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills are essential for this role and you have shown your ability to multi-task, you are adaptable and able to handle a high workload volume,
  • You will show a professional, positive attitude,
  • You are pro-active, can work autonomously and are a team player,
  • You have good attention to detail, are a problem-solver and are flexible.
