Job Overview:

The Trade Marketing Manager will sit within their designated region, reporting into the brands Trade Marketing Director with accountability to their sales VP’s. They are responsible for relevant, and distinctive programming for their respective brand category (Cognac, Crafted Spirits, or Whiskeys). The Trade Marketing Manager will help to create and manage local programming as the face of their region and respective brand category. This role is all parts creator, collaborator and communicator that helps drive the respective brand equity on a regional level.

Job Responsibilities:

Planning, implementation and localization of programming

Create/support local programming aligned with national marketing platforms that builds brand equity and drives sales within their region including but not limited to according to global brand standards
Execute national marketing platforms at retail to drive visibility and volume in key markets, ensuring flawless execution
Application of account segmentation principles inclusive of, managing allocations for respective region/brands aligned with brand standards
Flawless execution of visual merchandising according to global brand standards
Work with brand teams for their respective global team visits and PR tours
Drive e-commerce assets execution within their region according to E-Commerce Roadmap/Segmentation
Coordination and support of BA/BDM activations within respective regions for respective brands
Manage window segmentation, budget and approval of creative aligned with TMD (If applicable)
Support coordination of VAPS & Ltd. Editions
Contribute to the budget planning including but not exclusive to activations/localized events, local POS (window tracking)
Measurement and evaluation of programs

Track and measure program effectiveness in collaboration with sales teams to ensure understanding and support of value
Ensure fiscal responsibility and drive efficiencies in promotional spend
Establish division programming best practices
Foster collaboration through enhanced communication

Face of the brands/portfolios in the region
Direct link between brand marketing and sales teams, ensuring high level of collaboration with TMM’s within region, across brands
Develop and maintain strong relationship with the distributor as an active and engaged member of their team, driving discipline behind RCUSA programs at the distributor level
Effectively communicate brand programs and strategies in an inspiring way to ensure executional excellence
Provide feedback to managers (brand teams) on local program needs/wants, competitive intelligence, program/support impact and execution, etc.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have strong understanding of both consumer marketing, promotional programming, and event/ development. Strong creative skills to identify, create and leverage opportunities in key accounts. Strong presentation skills needed to sell programming for luxury Portfolio to distributor network.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exceptional planning skills and ability to work within and maintain budget. Working knowledge of distribution network, retail customers, consumer purchasing dynamics, syndicated data, and proven experience in developing local marketing plans.
